Bio
My 3 passions in life are Jesus, my family, education. They are integral to who I am and how I want others to see and know me. Take one away, and I cease to be me. My faith doesn't just inform my decisions, it is at the core of my identity. My family is my support, and I what I do, I do for them. I don't do life alone, and I don't want them to have to either. Education and is a priceless treasure that once gained can never be taken away. It happens everywhere all the time and should be a lifelong pursuit. I love to encourage others to take full advantage of the opportunity to learn because it is a privilege so many others are not afforded even today.
The condensed version of my life's details are as follows. I am the daughter of an immigrant. I am originally from NYC and was raised in Camden, Delaware. I earned my BA
in Spanish Literature and Culture from Washington College in Chestertown, MD in 1996. I've been happily married to my husband, Greg, for 28 years, and we
have five children and two grandchildren. With over 21 years of experience as a
homeschooler, tutor, and teacher, I've dedicated much of my life to education. As
that chapter is coming to a close, my next adventure is now owning my own sign
business. As a minority woman business owner, I love that can combine my creativity, my passion for connecting with
others in a meaningful way, and my mission to support my local community by helping businesses with their custom sign projects. For the past decade, I've lived in Castle Rock, CO,
where I enjoy hiking, reading, and being an active member of Plum Creek Church. My life's motto - live for Jesus, love my family, keep learning.
