Whether you are in sales, business development, own your own business or work as a teacher you are always meeting people and building a network.  You never know when you might need to call on one of your friends or colleagues for assistance with something or when they will ask for your help.  Building a solid network of people takes time and vision.  You may not need a persons services today, but when you do you'll be glad you cultivated that relationship ahead of time.  There was a great article in the Wall Street Journal recently that I wanted to share with everyone.  I think it's worth reading in it's entirety.  Enjoy!
