I hope this blog post finds you all well! It's been a crazy start to the year for me and for Firestorm! I'm so excited about the things that we have cookin' for this year!
With all that is going on, I totally understand how it's easy to let things slide. I've talked with so many of my friends that say "I'm just too busy, I can't make that event'. Believe me, I know how you feel. The thing is though, if you are in sales, business development or any role that requires you to generate new busines or mine into your existing accounts, networking and networking events are part of your job description. You've got to constantly and conciously be building your pipeline of business, especially in today's environment. Networking the right way takes time and if you let off the gas you might not notice the effects for a little bit and by the time you do notice, it takes time to recover.
We've got some GREAT networking events as well as our weekly chapter meetings, designed specifically to help you out in this area. I look forward to seeing you at an upcoming event!!
